London, 9th November 2021. The filmmakers behind the incredible documentary, Eating Our Way to Extinction, took a stand on the climate change crisis last night by projecting a giant image of the film’s striking ‘skull planet’ logo onto London’s Houses of Parliament.

Illuminating the issues raised at COP26 this week, Broxstar Productions said, “How can world leaders emphasise the critical role of forests, biodiversity and sustainable land use in the landmark deforestation agreement but not state the main cause of deforestation – meat? How can deforestation be stopped without talking about the main cause – meat and dairy?”

The filmmakers went on to highlight that governments are ignoring that meat consumption will rise by 14% this decade, even supporting it with the highest subsidies – $470bn each year to animal agriculture – when we know animal foods are harmful to health, cause a third of greenhouse emissions.

The filmmakers behind the incredible documentary, Eating Our Way to Extinction – available to watch now on all major digital platforms – took a stand on the climate change crisis last night by projecting a giant image of the film’s striking ‘skull planet’ logo onto London’s Houses of Parliament.

These subsidies directly relate to $12 Trillion a year in costs to human health and environmental damage to our already fragile planet.

The Global Methane Pledge is said to be the single biggest move to limit global warming but doesn’t mention the main cause of methane emissions that we can control is meat and dairy – why?

Broxstar went on to add, “How can these blatant, wilful evasions by world leaders leave a sustainable planet for future generations or ease climate change?”

Narrated and executive produced by Academy Award-winning actress Kate Winslet, Eating Our Way to Extinction takes audiences on a journey around the world, telling the story of our planet through shocking testimonials, poignant accounts from indigenous people most affected by our ever-changing planet, globally renowned figures and leading scientists. The documentary is available to watch and own now via all major digital platforms.
